Waldorf Doll Examples
The 6th grade did a doll parade through the lower grades and kindergartens. They did a marvelous job and worked really hard to finish, quite a feat with class being only 50 minutes once a week.
I have 26 students but 1/2 go to woodwork on Thursday and then the other 1/2 goes on Friday. The classes are really only 40-45 minutes, it takes time to start class and clean-up. It usually takes us 2 years to do the project, making the doll the 1st and then clothes the next, finishing the 7th grade year out with felted slippers. The teacher this year was on the students to work on their dolls whenever they had free time or to do as homework, she was amazing, it couldn't have been done without her. I also make up a timeline of what part needs to be finished by what time and do a Homework Handwork club when needed.
Oh nice! Great job! I have often considered making dolls with my students too...wow, really impressed! How many are in your class?
